Mumm and Colleagues Find Context-Specific Genetic Regulation of RGC Regeneration

Jeff Mumm, Ph.D., the Helen Larson & Charles Glenn Grover Professor of Ophthalmology, and colleagues identified 18 genes that regulate retinal ganglion cell regeneration in zebrafish. Their work suggests that the mechanisms regulating regeneration are context-specific. The findings were published in the journal Development.
