Community of Practice

As part of the WAEH membership members have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience during annual meetings, webinars, bilateral meetings and also during Community of Practice meetings. These initiatives embody WAEH’s core values of knowledge sharing and collaboration, creating a dynamic and supportive environment for eyecare professionals around the world. Currently we have two running Communities of Practice: one for Human Resources professionals and one for nurses and allied health staff.

The Community of Practice Human Resources and the Community of Practice for Nurses and Allied Health are online meetings organized by the WAEH where professionals come together to connect, learn and grow.

As our field evolves, these meetings serve as invaluable platforms for staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations so that we can adapt in an ever-changing environment. During these meetings, members share their expertise, exchange stories and offer valuable resources, creating a supportive environment for continuous improvement in their respective roles.
