St John Eye Hospital becomes first Palestinian hospital to achieve JCI Accreditation

The WAEH is pleased to announce that it’s member St John Eye Hospital has been awarded the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for quality and patient safety. The Joint Commission is a US-based organisation that has established patient safety and quality service standards and goals for health service facilities. This accomplishment is a significant milestone not only for the hospital but also for the Palestinian healthcare system.
